What started as
a small clan, |Fraggit| has now developed into a fair sized group of
friends, with the addition of our newly formed community, the Fraggit
Gaming Community, |FGC|. We are nothing more than a group of gamers
working together to accomplish the same goal, TO HAVE FUN!, whilst also
having those moments of gaming victory. We do not utilize ranking tags
in Fraggit. The lack of ranks creates an equilibrium between players
within the clan and community.
Fraggit has a long history starting from when a group of gamers formed the clan about * years ago in 200* and continued to grow, experiencing ups and downs and under different names. Towards the end of 2006 the clan re-named itself back to its original name, Fraggit. By early 2007 the clan broke apart, due to many factors. Then in June 2007 a couple of members started talks again to reestablish Fraggit and on 14th June cyborg had a new website and forums running again providing a fresh start for Fraggit. It started out small, however now, as a established name and clan we continue to share the interest that brought around the birth of the clan and continue to have fun. The name derived from a military reference which is better descibed at Urbandictionary.com.
As the clan has served time in game for quite awhile now, its has had the opportunities to form and join competitive teams in gaming leagues such as CAL and TWL. They have allowed us clans to participate in a strictly controlled gaming competition, where throughout matches against opposing clans, we get experience the competition that is around, but also to constantly compete and perfect our skills. No one improves their performance by sitting around, its those who compete day in and day out that become the best and learn from the best.
We welcome everybody, but understand people do have different opinions at times, this is why as a clan, decisions are made as a whole and where possible, decisions affecting the community are opened up to community players to discuss and vote on.
Its understandable that people come and play for different reasons, those who do come and disrupt and harass members and other visitors to the community are dealt with accordingly, bannings etc. warnings are given so please respect the word of admins and please respect your fellow gamers. We are a mature clan, a sensible group of people who still manage to have a joke and have fun at the same time. Current members age range from 16-50, however younger players do game with us or visit our community and servers, so please be aware of your behaviour and especially if you are certain there are minors around, we all swear and curse, but if someone is fairly young please tone it down until they leave.
The main purpose of the Fraggit Gaming Community is to have FUN FUN FUN!! This is the main purpose of your gaming time and If you aren't having fun then something is wrong. Please speak to someone if you have any issues with the community or other players. We reward each other with the gratification of laughter, jokes, and simple gaming pleasures (this is often achieved with the help of communication via a mic, these help interact with your fellow players, but please don't abuse them). Too often the game becomes more than fun to players. It becomes an ego outlet and sometimes even a way of life. If you see someone behaving inappropriately please report it. We want everyone to feel welcome here and understand that n00bs do play, remember you was was one of them. We all share the same reasons for playing games in the first place. It's all about enjoyment! If you aren't enjoying it, it may be telling you something.
We value friendship here at Fraggit and engulf its members as everyday friends. We doe this simply by playing the game together and building relationships via communicating on the website. This is a very important element to the community and clan. This is shown through the fact that as a clan we have lasted for a fair few years now and have pulled through some bad times together. Friendship keeps people together in reality as it does online.
We recruit when the clan feels more members would be welcomed. We will usually look into regular community players first before 'one-timers'. However we don't particularly take to 'clan jumpers' we can be a good indication to disloyal players who won't contribute much to the clan or community. We have a fair mixture of experienced players and new players, and one major aspect of player we recruit on is there personality and ability to have fun with other members.
